With regard to the personal information you supply to our business (Sandy and Angie at Angela Davidson Art), I'd firstly like to reassure you that we have never - and will never - knowingly divulge any of your personal details to any person, company or organisation for personal gain (or even for no gain). Our goal is to have an honest relationship with our customers and hope they will be delighted with the prints we supply because, not only do we take great pride in creating them, but creating and selling them is also how we make our living. Therefore, taking care of you, our customer, and your personal details, is something we do because... that's exactly how we would expect our personal information to be treated.

Below is all the whys and wherefores regarding how we deal with the information we collect from you in the course of our business, but here I'd like to give you a more easily digestable version of the same thing... but please feel free to read the other stuff as well.

The Information we Collect from You:

Your information will be retained for one month or until we can confirm the goods you have ordered have been safely delivered or collected from our gallery (your credit or debit card details are processed by Sage Pay on their encrypted website and these are details we never see, collect or store).

By the way, the Legal Basis by which we collect your information (which we're obliged to quote by the latest regulations set down by the Information Commissioner's Office) is by Consent (when you place an order with us), or Legitimate Interest if you have subscribed to our newsletter.

Where Your Personal Information Comes From:

The above information is collected automatically when you either place an order via this website or subscribe to our mailing list (apart form your payment card details as, once again, that part of the transaction is carried out by Stripe).

Why we Collect Your Personal Information:

Your personal information is used to process your order/s. From time to time we may also use your email address to send you special offers, however we will not send emails unless you have given us consent by registering with us on the Mailing List on our webpage. You also have an option to unsubscribe from our Mailing List.

Where Your Information is Stored and Who it is Shared With:

Orders from our website are sent to us via the company who built our site. That company is Visualsoft (www.visualsoft.co.uk). As our website 'lives' on Visualsoft's servers, this means that, technically, we share your data with Visualsoft. Visualsoft, however, are subject to the same General Data Protection Regulations as we are, so we consider your data to be held in a safe and secure environment.

In order to supply your order to the delivery address you have stated, we will also share your name, postal address, email and telephone number with one of the two delivery couriers we use: Hermes and DHL

Anyway, having given you the rough guide to how your information is used, here's the more in-depth stuff...
