    It's amazing how much we take these dazzling birds for granted. If you were to see this guy in a steaming tropical jungle, you'd think, how exotic! Well, we've also got them here in the steaming jungles of Aberdeenshire, and if I see one when I'm driving into the village I sometimes think: "Why does that pheasant think right now is the perfect time to cross the road? "

    Question: Why did the pheasant cross the road?  Answer: To see the expression on the car driver's face.
