We have a herd of these deer living just up the road from us and it's fantastic to listen to the noise they make during rutting, which is exactly what this guy's up to here. As the title suggests, this red deer stag is looking to elbow in on another's harem. However, before that can happen, I guess he'll first have to do a wee bit of sword fencing. The original artwork of Challenger was created using acrylic paint on canvas, oh, and Angie troweled the paint on using her palette knife; a complete contrast to the intricacies of her usual pastel work.
